Nore Quenderin is a world leader in magitech research and innovation.  It has also embraced the use of nature magic and conservation for sustainable agriculture and low-impact harvesting of natural resources.  Undersea mining operations account for just over half of the entire industry and are expected to grow as Nore Quenderin further charts it territorial waters.

Its economic resources include lumber, metal ores, ceramics, deep sea fishing, crab, aquaculture farming, and gemstones.  Nore Quenderin's leading industries are in magitech component fabrication, airship engineering, submarine engineering, foodstuff production, medical products, and weapons manufacture.

The Sovereign Republic enjoys among the highest standards of living, with widespread civil rights protection, without an intrusive or overbearing government. In fact, all politicians are required to have served at least one tour in the military or equivalent time in a civil service organization before being allowed to run for office. Universal suffrage for sentient beings is a check against elitism in government ranks, however.

Sorontur Anduril Stormgren, son of Damocles hero Ian Stormgren, serves as head-of-state and commander-in-chief.  Day-to-day governance and civil functions are managed through the Concordat, a body of elected representatives that send legislation to the Sorontur for his review.  The Eagle Throne's veto can be overridden by a three-fourths majority vote in the Concordat.  However, the Sorontur retains authority over all executive functions.
